After one session of hair transplantation

First of all, all male surgeons at “Talizi” had problems with hair loss and all of them have undergone hair grafting at our clinic: director of the clinic A. Tsilosani – VI degree alopecia; leading surgeon V. Vadachkoria – III degree alopecia. It is worthwhile to mention that all of them were general profile surgeons and they were first acquainted with hair grafting as patients, and started to work in this sphere only after. This means that we can see hair grafting not only from physician’s perspective, but from patient’s perspective as well; we were patients ourselves and we fully understand the feelings and expectations of men before hair transplantation. This is why our clinic is so sensitive to the needs of all our patients.
After having read previous sections you can judge professionalism of “Talizi” staff. We will only emphasize a few moments:
1) Our clinic employs method of follicular unit transplantation which is considered “gold standard” of hair grafting. This method provides excellent cosmetic effects, as transplanted hair grows exactly as it would naturally, transplanted follicles have high potential of survival (up to 100%), and there is minimal loss of follicles during transplantation process.
2) In spite of enormous effort and time required for follicular unit transplantation, our 8-12 member teams are able to transplant more than 3000-6000 grafts (follicular units) in 3-6 hours in case of necessity, which is not exhausting either for patients or for the staff.
3) Owing to original technologies employed at our clinic, hair transplantation is performed virtually without bleeding and pain. Several hours spent by the patient at our clinic are maximally comfortable for him.
4) Owing to original anesthesia methods employed only at our clinic, probability of complications is close to zero (complications are rare in any case). We have no incidents of anesthesia toxity, allergic reactions, syncope, shock etc. Refined methods of harvesting donor material exclude infectious complications and scarring.
5) Postoperative period is easily tolerable for our patients. As it was mentioned earlier, absence of pain and face edema allows them to return to normal living and working routine the very next day after the surgery. Hard physical work is permitted after one week. Patients can start to wash their hair in 2 days after the operation.
6) Our clinic is the only one using automatic electronic system of counting recipient sites and follicular units, which provides patients with precise information about the number of grafts transplanted during the procedure. Simply saying, patient gets information about number of transplanted grafts not from the physician, but sees the figure himself on the monitor.
7) Formation of recipient sites for further implantation of follicular units is being performed only by special, particularly refined modification of Sharpoint microblades. Recipient sites produced by means of these instruments are only 0.7-1.0 mm length and 0.16 mm wide, so they do not leave pit-like traces. Besides, tight contact between walls of these small recipient sites and implanted grafts ensure fast healing (36 to 48 hours). Special modification of these microperforators ordered by our clinic can limit depth of recipient sites (4 mm), which, first, helps to avoid excess traumatization of recipient area and excludes scarring, and second, represents best way of prevention of folliculitis. Besides, mentioned technology allows extremely close positioning of recipient sites without damage of existing hair roots, which is precondition for achieving high density of transplanted hairs (more than 100 hairs per 1 cm2). Last, but not least: hair transplantation in our clinic is incomparably inexpensive. Price of one transplanted follicular unit in “Talizi” is 1.5 USD, while in the clinics using technology of follicular unit transplantation price of one follicular unit is 3.0-4.0 USD.
Thus it is clear that if you have androgenic or scar type alopecia the only way of restoration of hair is hair transplantation. And if you decided to transplant hair, “Talizi” is best choice considering.
